| The primary aim of this section is to provide a pictorial history of the badges of every Club for each year in which they have been members of the Football League. A secondary aim is to accompany the pictures with unusual statistical information charting the ups and downs of each Club. I am indebted to Chris Skinner, one of the principal football badge collectors in the country, for allowing me access to his remarkable collection, and whilst all the information shown in this section is freely available in the public domain, I wish to acknowledge the significant help Richard Rundle's site www.fchd.info has been in constructing this section.
